Good health and good sense are two of life's greatest blessings. |
chloe, why?
With an ever-growing love for food, I have become increasingly passionate about nutrition and the wellness of the body. When the Genius Project was first introduced to me during my junior year at Sage Creek High School, I knew almost instantly what my project would be centered around: nutrition and the art of food. One of the things I value most about food is the freedom of creativity synonymous with the art. Whether it was helping my mom cook dinner, or watching my Italian Nana make her famous meatballs and sauce, I was always thrilled to get into the kitchen. With this idea in the back of my mind, I have co-founded a new club at Sage Creek High School titled, "Health is Wealth." Engraved in this club are the same thoughts that flooded through my mind when I was young: get people into the kitchen; teach them something new; educate them on the importance of healthy eating. In this club, students will learn about the importance of maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle, while developing new skills in the kitchen.
